“ “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken” ”
My name is Kristy (she/her), and I am so glad you are here. As a licensed mental health counselor, I offer a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, prioritizing the unique experiences and needs of each individual and family while meeting them where they are on their journey. I earned my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Drake University in 2021. I am an Iowa transplant from Nebraska and I bleed Husker red.
Kristy has over five years of experience in the mental health counseling field and more than a decade working within community mental health.
I believe that the individuals who enter the therapeutic space are experts in their own lives and it is my role to support them through that journey towards their ideal selves, healing and growth.
